Indian Air IAF Airman Group Y jobs Recruitment 2011 Notification

All the applications are invites from unmarried male candidates for the selection test as conducted  in September 2011 to join as Airman in Group 'Y' (Non-Technical) trades.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with Science, Arts OR 3 years Diploma in Engineering in any stream
Age Limit: Born between 01.01.1991 and 28.02.1995 (both dates are inclusive)
Medical Standards: Height 152.5 cm minimum, Chest is minimum 5 cms range, Vision : 6/36 each eye., Correctable with spectacles : at least 6/9 each eye., Diopteric power : not exceeding +3.5
Training: Initial Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT) will be provided at Airmen Training School, Belgaum (Karnataka) for Twelve weeks. After it Trade Training will be provided.
Stipend: Rs.5700/- pm will be paid during the training.
Selection Procedure: 
The Test will be conduct during the month of September 2011. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) : Who pass in written test will undertake Physical Fitness Test. It will be consists of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 8 min., Interview : Who will be pass both the written and Physical Fitness Test will be called for interview.
How to Apply: 
Candidates must be indicate 3 choices of the examination centre in order of preference. Application form which is predefined should be typed on A4 size paper only. Closing or Last date for the receipt of applications at the Central Airmen Selection Board is 10th June 2011. Application will be completed in all respect and outside the envelope containing the application we will write clearly
