The NTPC has started online registrations for ET recruitment 2012 on the basis of GATE 2012. GATE 2012 is scheduled to be held on 12th Feb 2012. There are total 300 vacancies for Engineering Executive Trainees. Vacancies are in the disciplines of Electrical (112 vacancies), Mechanical (89 vacancies), Civil (38 vacancies), Instrumentation (31 vacancies) and Electronics (30 vacancies). Qualification required is Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with minimum 65% marks. Upper age limit is 27 years as on 1st Jan 2012. Based on the GATE 2012 score, candidates will be short listed for GD and Interview.
AGE LIMIT: Upper Age limit is 27 years as on 01.01.2012 i.e. candidates born before 01.01.85 need not apply.
SELECTION PROCESS: Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2012. Based on the GATE-2012 score and requirement, candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in GD and
interview.
